John has worked in the construction industry for 34 years since leaving school. He started at John Laing Construction where he worked for ten years, followed by self-employment as a partner, then sole proprietor of a building business and a director of his own land development company. John returned to main contracting with a medium size contractor as a senior project manager overseeing multiple contracts. More recently he held the position as a Client’s Construction Director over seeing multiple contracts within London and the Home Counties and held the position of Director of a Construction Company formed to build a selection of developments owned by the Employer.

This naturally led to growing his own consultancy and he provided Development and Construction Management services to support either Property Developers or Main Contractors, before becoming a Director of Jonsyn Ltd.

John holds the NEBOSH Construction Certificate and membership of IOSH having the status of TechIOSH.
